Who you are buying from
Digital products on this site are sold through Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. Your purchase contract is with Gumroad and its terms of sale apply. I write the products, answer questions about them, and decide on refunds.

Price and tax
Prices are shown in US dollars and may be converted to your local currency by Gumroad. Any VAT, GST or sales tax that applies in your country is calculated by Gumroad and shown to you at checkout, so the total you confirm is the total you pay. Gumroad collects and remits that tax and issues your receipt.
What you get and when
Every product on this site is a digital download. After payment you receive a receipt by e-mail with a link to the content, so you can download the files straight away.
Keep that receipt. You can return to it at any time to download the files again, and you may be asked to confirm the e-mail address you used at checkout. You do not need an account to buy or to download. If you would rather keep your purchases in one place, you can create a free Gumroad account using the same e-mail address and the files will appear in your library.
The files are PDFs. You need a device that can open a PDF, and a printer for the printable parts. No account on this site is needed and nothing is streamed or hosted behind a login.
Your right to cancel
Under EU consumer law you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery begins and you have agreed to it. You give that agreement at checkout, which is what allows you to download the files straight away.
The refund I offer anyway
Separately from the above, I offer a full refund within fourteen days of purchase, for any reason. You do not have to explain yourself and you do not have to prove anything.
E-mail info@marriedtoacatholic.com from the address you used to buy, or simply reply to your receipt. I issue the refund through Gumroad and the money goes back to the card you paid with. This usually takes a few working days on my side, plus however long your bank takes.
Please delete the files if you take the refund. I have no way to check and I am not going to try. It is a matter of good faith.
What the products are and are not
The products describe how Catholic marriage preparation generally works, based on canon law, published Church documents and my own experience. Practice varies between dioceses, parishes and countries. Nothing in the products is legal, canonical or pastoral advice, and nothing in them replaces what your own parish tells you. The Disclaimer covers this in more detail.
I do not guarantee any particular outcome with any parish or diocese.
Copyright
The products are my own work. Buying one gives you a personal licence to read, print and use it, including with your partner. You may not resell it, share the files publicly, or use them in paid coaching, ministry or classroom settings without my written permission. If you want to use them with a group, e-mail me. I am open to it.
Changes
I may change these terms for future purchases. The terms that apply to you are the ones published on the day you bought.
